Jen Bolster Jen Bolster is an Advanced Care Paramedic and Paramedic Practice Leader within the department of Clinical Governance and Professional Practice at BC Emergency Health Services. She oversees paramedic practice within the Vancouver Coastal region, and her clinical portfolios include substance use, mental health, and the toxic drug crisis. Jen completed her Bachelor of Paramedicine (Honors) with Monash University and holds an affiliation there. She is also engaged as a research assistant at Fanshawe College and is an instructor at the Justice Institute of British Columbia and Columbia Paramedic Academy. Jen’s research interests center on optimizing the health care experience for people who use drugs, which has earned her the Dalhousie University Top Research award for her scoping review into substance use and the paramedic role. |
