Dr. Evan Formosa Dr. Evan Formosa is a resident physician specializing in emergency medicine at the University of Saskatchewan. Evan has a keen interest in the dynamic field of emergency healthcare and is particularly interested prehospital and transport medicine. Growing up in the Greater Toronto Area, Evan moved to London, Ontario, to complete his undergraduate and master’s degrees at Western University. His academic journey continued in New York at New York Medical College, where he earned his Doctor of Medicine. Evan is passionate about enhancing the scope of paramedic services to better address community needs, especially in supporting marginalized populations. His efforts are geared towards integrating emergency medical services with community health initiatives, ensuring accessible and effective care for all, with a focus on the most vulnerable. As he advances in his residency, Evan remains dedicated to learning and contributing to the field, with a specific interest in how paramedic services can evolve to meet emerging health challenges.
