Aman Verma Aman Verma is a Research Associate at the Surveillance Lab, where he is actively involved in several research projects involving large healthcare databases. Aman is currently involved in research applying machine learning to emergency medical service prioritization, as well as patient flow within the hospital. In the past, he has studied hospital readmissions, opioid prescribing, and the effect of psychotropic drugs on fall-related injuries in the elderly. His training has focused on combining computer science and healthcare informatics; he holds an undergraduate degree in computer science, a master of health informatics degree, as well as a doctoral degree in epidemiology and biostatistics. |
